Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations during the night shift, ensuring targets are met efficiently and accurately.
- Manage and supervise a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and compliance regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
- Conduct nightly inventory checks and reconcile stock discrepancies immediately.
- Coordinate with day-shift management to ensure seamless handover of operations and documentation.
- Resolve operational issues and emergencies that arise during the shift in a timely manner.
- Monitor equipment functionality and schedule necessary maintenance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and weekends on a rotating basis.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED required.
