Responsibilities
- Oversee all night shift operations during weekend hours (Sat/Sun), ensuring 24/7 logistics continuity
- Monitor inventory systems, coordinate transportation routes, and resolve operational disruptions
- Implement safety protocols and maintain compliance with OSHA and company standards
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute time-sensitive weekend delivery and distribution plans
- Generate real-time performance reports and recommend process improvements
- Respond to emergency situations with decisive action and clear communication
- Train and mentor new team members on weekend-specific procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in logistics or operations preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in night shift or weekend operations roles
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving abilities with data-driven decision-making skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (for occasional facility inspections)
- Ability to work independently in low-supervision environments
- Physical stamina required for extended overnight shifts (standing/walking)
- OSHA certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
