Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms and error correction protocols
- Collaborate with research institutions to advance quantum hardware capabilities
- Develop quantum security frameworks for next-gen communication systems
- Create roadmaps for quantum integration with classical computing infrastructures
- Drive patent development in quantum machine learning and simulation technologies
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and establish best practices for quantum software development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields preferred
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Proven ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical business solutions
