Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026 deployment
- Develop quantum error correction algorithms achieving <99.9% fidelity
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times
- Research and implement novel quantum algorithms for commercial applications
- Present quantum roadmap to C-suite and government stakeholders
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum systems with >100 qubit implementations
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum journals (e.g., Nature Quantum)
- Experience with quantum error correction codes (surface, surface-17)
- Strong Python/C++ proficiency with low-level optimization skills
