Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for complex computational problems
- Develop quantum algorithms and protocols to optimize machine learning and data processing workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into cloud platforms
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and coherence enhancement
- Create technical documentation and specifications for quantum system implementations
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to quantum computing best practices
- Stay current with emerging quantum technologies and industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's with exceptional experience)
- Minimum 5 years experience in quantum computing or advanced algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Proven track record in developing scalable quantum systems or high-performance computing
- Strong background in machine learning and AI integration with quantum systems
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) quantum services
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts
