Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead prototyping of quantum hardware components in cryogenic environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into commercial products
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and secure competitive government/private funding
- Develop quantum error-correction techniques for fault-tolerant systems
- Analyze quantum simulation data to identify practical industry applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Quantum Computing, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Publication record in quantum information science or condensed matter physics
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and linear algebra
- Experience with cryogenic systems or superconducting qubits preferred
