Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning

- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier journals (Nature/Science)
- Secure government/private research grants ($5M+ target annually)
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers in quantum theory
- Partner with Fortune 500 companies to deploy quantum solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics
- 5+ years of quantum computing research with proven publications
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic systems and superconducting qubits
- Strong track record of securing research funding
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing
