Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms with practical applications in finance, healthcare, and materials science
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using advanced superconducting qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computational frameworks for real-world problem-solving
- Collaborate with AI specialists to integrate quantum computing into machine learning pipelines
- Publish groundbreaking research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Mentor junior researchers and supervise PhD-level interns in quantum computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years postdoctoral research
- Expertise in quantum circuit design, error correction, and qubit manipulation
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical Python/Julia
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Experience with cryogenic quantum computing systems and pulse-level control
- Strong track record of cross-disciplinary collaboration with AI/ML teams
- US citizenship or permanent residency required for government contract compliance
