Responsibilities
- Lead architectural reviews and code quality assurance for all weekend deployments to ensure 99.99% system uptime.
- Design and implement scalable microservices to support high-traffic applications during peak weekend periods.
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex backend issues in real-time.
- Collaborate with a dedicated QA team to validate release candidates before go-live on Fridays.
- Document technical architecture and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions for the support team.
- Mentor junior developers and establish coding standards for the weekend squad.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in Full-Stack development with a focus on JavaScript (React, Node.js, or Vue.js).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of working in Weekend Shift environments or availability for rotational weekend schedules.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote-first setting.
