Responsibilities
- System Architecture & Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and optimization of our core microservices architecture during weekend shifts.
- Critical Incident Management: Lead the triage and resolution of high-priority technical incidents and production outages.
- Code Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous code reviews and implement automated testing protocols to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaboration: Partner with the on-call team and product stakeholders to align weekend strategies with business goals.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation and runbooks for complex systems.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on backend systems.
- Technology Stack: Proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js/React), Python, or Java.
- Database Skills: Strong expertise in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
- Availability: Must be available to work Friday through Sunday shifts.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with a track record of resolving complex technical challenges under pressure.
