Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps and innovation frameworks
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive trends in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and Board of Directors
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops for cross-functional teams
- Partner with R&D to prototype emerging technologies
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports for investor and stakeholder communications
- Build and manage a global network of futurists and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist roles
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term tech strategies
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, blockchain, AR/VR, and quantum computing
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or tech strategy
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight
- Experience building innovation labs within Fortune 500 companies
