Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) to identify disruptive opportunities and risks
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 2026+ business horizons
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Produce thought leadership reports and present to C-suite stakeholders
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions
- Monitor patent landscapes and emerging technologies for competitive advantage
- Establish KPIs for measuring innovation maturity
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Proven track record of translating trends into commercial strategy
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive communication skills
- Experience building innovation ecosystems in tech-forward organizations
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., APF, WFS) preferred
