Responsibilities
- Research and forecast global megatrends (2026-2030) across AI, biotech, climate resilience, and quantum computing
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for organizational adaptation to disruptive innovations
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-proof solutions
- Author thought leadership whitepapers and present to industry conferences
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Integrate foresight methodologies into product development lifecycles
- Mentor junior futurists and establish innovation governance protocols
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of published trend analysis (Harvard Business Review, MIT Tech Review)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and systemic innovation frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (blockchain, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional stakeholder management with executive presentation experience
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ future-shaping initiatives implemented at scale
