Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual horizon-scanning reports identifying emerging trends and disruptive technologies with 3-5 year impact windows
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops with executive teams to co-create future-ready business strategies
- Lead cross-functional projects implementing prototyping and validation of futuristic concepts
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry pioneers
- Translate complex foresight frameworks into actionable roadmaps for product development and market expansion
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling visual narratives and data-driven storytelling
- Mentor junior futurists while advancing the discipline through thought leadership and industry publications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in innovation strategy, consulting, or R&D leadership with proven futurist methodologies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex information into actionable business insights
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation strategies
- Experience facilitating C-level workshops and presenting to executive audiences
