Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal disruptions through 2026
- Develop and maintain comprehensive scenario models for strategic planning across product development and market expansion
- Facilitate executive workshops on future implications and disruption risks for key business units
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and visualizations communicating complex future states to stakeholders
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with innovation labs, research institutions, and futurist networks
- Integrate future intelligence into corporate strategy, R&D priorities, and investment decisions
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and emerging technology assessment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future technology analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend impact methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into executable business strategies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from the Association of Professional Futurists) preferred
