This role sits at the intersection of foresight, strategy, and execution in our dynamic Silicon Valley headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology foresight frameworks for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and market inflection points
- Produce strategic whitepapers and scenario-planning models for C-suite stakeholders
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-proof products and services
- Establish industry thought leadership through keynote speaking and published research
- Mentor junior futurists using structured horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Portfolio of published foresight work or patents
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
- Experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
