Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee all warehouse activities during assigned weekend and night shifts to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
- Team Management: Mentor, train, and schedule staff to ensure optimal coverage and high morale.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and conduct daily safety briefings to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, manage incoming/outgoing shipments, and conduct regular audits.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain forklifts and machinery to prevent downtime.
- Reporting: Generate and review daily shift reports, identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Leadership: Proven track record of supervising teams, preferably in a 24/7 or shift-based environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends and night shifts on a rotating schedule.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks.
- Certifications: Forklift certification (preferred but willing to train).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
