Responsibilities
- Operate material handling equipment: Safely and efficiently use pallet jacks, forklifts, and conveyor systems to move inventory.
- Pick and pack orders: Accurately retrieve and prepare customer orders according to strict quality standards.
- Load and unload trailers: Manage the flow of freight in and out of the distribution center.
- Maintain organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team: Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Quality assurance: Perform basic checks on products to ensure they meet company specifications.
Qualifications
- Physical capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Schedule availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) consistently.
- Reliability: A track record of punctuality and dependability is essential.
- Basic computer skills: Comfortable using handheld scanners and basic point-of-sale systems.
- Attention to detail: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
