Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations during weekend shifts (Saturday-Sunday)
- Manage and mentor a team of 8-12 warehouse associates
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and quality standards
- Optimize inventory accuracy through cycle counting and audits
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient loading/unloading of freight
- Implement process improvements to enhance weekend productivity
- Resolve operational challenges and escalate critical issues
- Complete shift reports and performance metrics documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions
- Flexible schedule with weekend availability (non-negotiable)
- Basic math and inventory management skills
