Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage and coordinate all logistics activities during weekend shifts to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Team Leadership: Supervise a small team of warehouse associates, assigning tasks and providing guidance to maintain high productivity.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure working environment for all personnel.
- Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot operational issues and resolve customer complaints or logistical discrepancies efficiently.
- Reporting: Generate and review weekly performance reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or operations management.
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on a full-time basis.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff and clients.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate various warehouse environments.
