Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs assessments and patient intake procedures
- Assist providers with clinical examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records documentation
- Prepare and administer injections and medications as directed
- Sterilize equipment and maintain exam room readiness
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule weekend appointments
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Attention to detail in documentation and procedures
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend schedules
