Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate patient care during weekend night shifts (Saturday/Sunday, 11 PM - 7 AM)
- Monitor vital signs and document patient information in electronic health records
- Assist with patient mobility, medication administration, and treatment procedures
- Respond promptly to patient call bells and emergency situations
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and nursing teams for coordinated care
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during overnight hours
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania CNA or EMT certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in hospital/long-term care setting
- Strong documentation skills with EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Ability to remain alert and make critical decisions overnight
- Valid CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends with advance scheduling
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
