Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance during night and weekend shifts
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and medication administration
- Assist with emergency response procedures and maintain patient safety protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless care transitions between shifts
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain sterile clinical environments
- Offer emotional support to patients and families during overnight hours
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems for accurate documentation
Qualifications
- Current Ohio Nursing Assistant (STNA) or CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare or long-term care setting
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
