Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during weekend night shifts, monitoring vital signs and administering medications
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain confidential medical records
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and follow established protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Perform routine health assessments and report abnormalities to on-call physicians
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient environment
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of direct patient care experience in a clinical setting
- BLS/CPR certification (must be current)
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during off-hours
- Strong communication skills with proficiency in English/Spanish preferred
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and schedules
- Pass background check and drug screening
