Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during weekend overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications per physician protocols
- Document patient assessments accurately in electronic health records
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and safety standards
- Participate in weekend staff huddles and training sessions
Qualifications
- Current RN/LPN/CMA certification in Texas
- 1+ years of night shift experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Weekend availability mandatory (Saturday & Sunday)
- Pass background check and drug screening
