Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate patient care during weekend night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient records accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Provide patient education and support to family members
- Participate in weekend shift handovers and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Indiana (or compact state)
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Flexibility to work every weekend (Sat/Sun)
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
