Responsibilities
- Shift Leadership: Oversee all daily operations during weekend shifts to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile stock discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Team Coordination: Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates to ensure high performance standards.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in the workflow and implement solutions to improve operational speed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and report on the condition of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal functionality.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics management.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to work well under pressure.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Technical: Basic computer proficiency and ability to operate handheld scanners.
