Responsibilities
- Coordinate weekend warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and shipping
- Lead and mentor 15+ weekend staff through daily briefings and performance reviews
- Implement lean principles to optimize weekend workflow efficiency
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols
- Generate weekend performance reports and recommend operational improvements
- Collaborate with weekday managers to ensure seamless handover processes
- Manage weekend inventory audits and discrepancy resolutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with weekend shift leadership
- Strong knowledge of WMS systems and logistics software (SAP, Oracle)
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams in high-pressure environments
- Advanced problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making
- Valid Michigan driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods
