Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations during Saturday/Sunday shifts, ensuring 99.9% on-time delivery performance
- Lead and mentor 8-12 weekend staff members, conducting performance reviews and training sessions
- Coordinate warehouse activities, inventory control, and distribution logistics across multiple facilities
- Implement process improvements using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to boost weekend efficiency
- Resolve operational escalations and maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols
- Generate weekend performance reports and present actionable insights to senior leadership
- Collaborate with weekday managers to ensure operational continuity and resource alignment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field
- 3+ years of warehouse/operations management experience with weekend shift leadership
- Strong proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) and Microsoft Office Suite
- OSHA 30-hour certification and Hazmat handling credentials preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to make data-driven decisions
- Proven track record of improving KPIs (OTD, inventory accuracy, labor efficiency)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to lead diverse teams in high-pressure environments
