Responsibilities
- Coordinate weekend logistics operations, including inventory management and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of 15+ weekend staff members to maintain peak performance
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
- Analyze operational metrics to identify efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with weekday managers to ensure consistent service standards
- Resolve escalated customer inquiries and operational issues during weekend shifts
- Prepare comprehensive weekend performance reports for executive review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations
- Proven leadership experience managing teams of 10+ employees
- Strong proficiency in WMS systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- OSHA certification and familiarity with safety compliance standards
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
