Responsibilities
- Oversee Weekend Operations: Manage all daily logistics activities, inventory control, and distribution processes during the weekend shift to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team of warehouse associates and drivers, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company regulations to minimize risk and prevent accidents.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and manage returns to ensure accurate inventory records at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate routine maintenance for forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems to ensure operational readiness.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the weekend workflow and implement efficiency improvements to reduce costs and increase throughput.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work exclusively on weekends (Saturday & Sunday) with flexibility for overtime during peak seasons.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory control procedures.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate various warehouse environments.
