Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Direct and supervise a team of 15+ warehouse associates to ensure optimal productivity and workflow during weekend operations.
- Shift Management: Oversee all daily logistics functions, including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a zero-incident work environment.
- Inventory Accuracy: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies to ensure 100% inventory accuracy.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement effective solutions to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between weekend staff and weekday management to ensure seamless operational continuity.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Schedule: Must be available to work full-time weekend shifts (Friday – Sunday or Saturday – Monday).
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business or Logistics is a plus.
- Skills: Strong leadership skills, proficiency with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), and basic computer literacy.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and navigate various warehouse environments.
- Driver's License: Valid Class C Driver's License required.
