Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Shift Lead to oversee our warehouse operations during our busy weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will ensure inventory accuracy, maintain safety standards, and lead a small team of associates.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations and logistics workflows during weekend shifts.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and proper stock organization and rotation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by adhering to all safety protocols.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring timely delivery schedules are met.
- Collaborate with the management team to identify process improvements and resolve operational issues.
- Train and mentor new part-time associates on standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or retail is preferred.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management systems.
