Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care activities across departments during weekend shifts
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient communication
- Assist with electronic health record documentation and data entry
- Support clinical teams with patient intake and discharge processes
- Handle urgent patient inquiries and triage situations
- Collaborate with on-call providers for weekend coverage
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate's degree preferred)
- 1+ years healthcare administration or patient care experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or Cerner a plus)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Florida state certification or willingness to obtain
- Weekend availability required (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
