Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely handle merchandise using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to load and unload delivery trucks.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the accurate receiving, sorting, and stocking of inventory to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and secure wrapping.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage and ensure accuracy against packing lists.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe by adhering to all safety protocols and 5S guidelines.
- System Operation: Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to scan items and update inventory records.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not mandatory; we provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Communication: Basic computer literacy and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
