Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all daily operations during the weekend shift, ensuring targets are met efficiently.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Supervise a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve operational issues promptly to ensure high service standards.
- Conduct daily shift briefings to communicate goals, expectations, and safety reminders.
- Perform quality control checks on outgoing shipments and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and inventory management systems.
- Excellent verbal communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and warehouse management software.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
