Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software code for our core enterprise applications.
- Perform critical system updates, patch management, and security audits during off-peak hours.
- Debug complex issues and optimize application performance for high-traffic scenarios.
- Collaborate with the Monday-Friday team to ensure seamless deployment and integration.
- Document technical specifications and create runbooks for weekend maintenance procedures.
- Monitor server health and uptime to ensure 99.9% availability of services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript (React/Node.js preferred).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems.
- Must be willing and available to work a Weekend Shift (e.g., Friday-Monday or Saturday-Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
