Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee all daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure 100% accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Team Management: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of 5-10 warehouse associates, conducting morning briefings and performance evaluations.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate stock records.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a zero-accident workplace.
- Equipment Handling: Oversee the safe operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems; coordinate maintenance schedules.
- Problem Solving: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement effective solutions to improve workflow efficiency during peak weekend periods.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse supervision or logistics management.
- Skills: Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certifications: Valid forklift operator certification (Class A or B) is required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods (8-10 hour shifts).
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
