Responsibilities
- Operational Execution: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare merchandise for shipping using warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure stock levels match system data.
- Equipment Handling: Safely operate powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) when required and perform routine equipment inspections.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and ensure all packaging meets company standards.
- Workspace Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with shift leads and team members to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment center environment is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Communication: Basic computer literacy and ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
