Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Order Fulfillment: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare customer orders to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and manage inventory accuracy within the warehouse.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect goods for damage and ensure all packaging meets company quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on equipment and report any maintenance needs immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate.
- Forklift Certification: Must have a valid forklift license or be willing to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a full-time basis.
- Reliability: Strong history of punctuality and attendance in previous roles.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain high accuracy in data entry and counting.
