Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic foresight initiatives mapping technological, societal, and economic trends through 2026
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype disruptive solutions in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Architect 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with UN SDGs and exponential growth targets
- Present visionary briefings to C-suite, investors, and industry coalitions
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Quantify market opportunities for emerging technologies with $500M+ potential impact
- Mentor 'Future Strategist' talent pipeline and drive innovation culture transformation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing exponential technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- Deep expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into actionable strategies
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (Harvard Business Review, etc.)
- Fluency in exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Experience scaling innovation frameworks in Fortune 500 or unicorn environments
