Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework using predictive analytics and trend synthesis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for next-gen challenges (AI ethics, quantum integration, climate resilience)
- Author quarterly strategic briefings for the Board of Directors on emerging threats/opportunities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) for collaborative R&D initiatives
- Design and implement Horizon's 'Future-Proof' employee development program
- Present at global innovation summits (Web Summit, CES, Davos) representing the company's vision
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts (3+ successful exits or product launches)
- Expertise in at least three of these domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, advanced AI, or decentralized systems
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Credibility as a keynote speaker at top-tier tech conferences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating published thought leadership (Harvard Business Review, MIT Tech Review)
