- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Build and maintain proprietary trend intelligence databases using advanced analytics
- Partner with R&D to incubate future-proof product innovations and business models
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry summits
- Mentor junior strategists in futures-thinking methodologies and critical analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into executable business strategies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional presentation skills with C-suite and board audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (e.g., MIT Tech Review, Wired)
- Fluency in futures research methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Wild Cards Analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful strategic initiatives launched from foresight work
