This role requires deep foresight into 2026's technological, social, and economic landscapes. You'll collaborate with C-suite executives to develop actionable strategies that position us as market leaders in the coming decade.
Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic shifts and technological convergence points impacting 2026 market landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for product innovation and business expansion
- Lead 'Future Labs' workshops with global stakeholders to identify disruptive opportunities
- Produce whitepapers and thought leadership on emerging paradigms (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, etc.)
- Partner with R&D to prototype 2026-relevant solutions through rapid validation cycles
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Present strategic recommendations to the board with data-backed future-state projections
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting or corporate innovation with proven 5-year horizon planning
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent technical field
- Published research or portfolio demonstrating trend analysis for 2020-2030
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS) or equivalent
- Experience leading cross-geographic teams in matrix organizations
- Fluency in future-mapping tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning software)
