Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess commercial viability for 2026 market entry
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps with 5-year foresight horizon
- Lead stakeholder workshops to align executive teams on future-state opportunities
- Produce whitepapers and thought leadership content positioning company as industry futurist
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into development cycles
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and identify disruptive threats/opportunities
- Represent company at futurist conferences and build strategic partnerships
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech strategy roles
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (portfolio required)
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their convergence
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIF) preferred
