Responsibilities
- Forecast emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) through data modeling and expert analysis
- Develop 5-10 year innovation roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize future scenarios into actionable strategies
- Author thought leadership reports on disruptive technologies and their societal impacts
- Advise executive leadership on future-proofing organizational capabilities
- Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets and partnership opportunities
- Represent the company at global tech foresight conferences and industry forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their disruptive potential
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence C-level executives
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation publications
- Experience with AI-driven forecasting tools and data visualization platforms
