Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, socio-economic trends, and disruptive forces impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Architect strategic frameworks integrating AI, biotech, and circular economy principles for sustainable business transformation
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-ready solutions addressing climate resilience, ethical AI, and human augmentation
- Develop scenario-planning models for geopolitical shifts, resource scarcity, and demographic changes
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and strategic narratives
- Champion cross-functional innovation sprints with design, engineering, and sustainability leads
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership with Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Proven track record developing actionable roadmaps for 5+ year strategic horizons
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or relevant discipline (PhD preferred)
- Mastery of foresight methodologies: Delphi, STEEP analysis, and scenario planning frameworks
- Exceptional storytelling abilities translating complex trends into executive-ready narratives
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ implemented future-focused initiatives
