Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026+ technology innovation roadmap, integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Develop strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and global innovation hubs
- Translate complex technological trends into actionable business strategies for executive stakeholders
- Champion human-centered design principles in all future technology implementations
- Establish innovation metrics and KPIs to measure future-readiness across organizational functions
- Present future technology scenarios to investors, clients, and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in strategic technology planning with proven 2020+ technology roadmap delivery
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, spatial computing
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (IEEE, MIT Technology Review, etc.)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through technology transformation cycles
- Certification in Futures Research (e.g., Association of Professional Futurists) or equivalent
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex futures scenarios to diverse technical and non-technical audiences
