Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen AI systems and quantum applications
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government labs for cutting-edge research
- Monitor and analyze global tech trends, patent landscapes, and regulatory shifts
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and investment committees
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget with measurable ROI targets
- Organize and host annual Future Forward Summit convening industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in tech innovation leadership with proven 2020+ tech launches
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Track record of securing venture funding for experimental technologies
- Exceptional strategic communication skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or major industry publications
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and horizon scanning methodologies
- Experience navigating complex regulatory environments for emerging technologies
