Responsibilities
- Provide patient care assistance during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Administer medications and treatments under physician supervision
- Perform diagnostic procedures and vital sign monitoring
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Assist in emergency response protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/MA) or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience preferred
- Flexible weekend availability (Sat/Sun 7am-7pm)
- Strong proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Cerner)
- BLS/CPR certification mandatory
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Pennsylvania state license/certification in good standing
